Welcome to a world where science lives side by side with magic, where one swordsman can equal the might of a tank brigade. Welcome to a world where political intrigues abound and the secrets to the universe are just waiting to be discovered. Welcome to a world where people are just living their lives, as amazing as they may be, plagued with the same problems you and I share.

The World of Emor is host to a diverse cast of characters. The first such figure of attention is Jacin Lancir. A young spear-specialist from Gatamene, he is sucked into an unusual adventure as a result of circumstances stemming from a regular military excersize. Along with his former commanding officer, Charles Maxton, Jacin is charged with the difficult task of unearthing his family's past and his own innate abilities. After all, its not every day you can see the future, unless perhaps you can see the future.

The second protagonist is Branden Frost; his name is an apt description of himself. Also from Gatamene, Branden weilds the power of ice, as well as a degree of speed rumored to be unrivaled within the Kingdom of Emor. His life has been spent attempting to track down the murderers of his parents; he spent the majority of his life under the tutelege of Serge Lenkman, an old knight with years of experience. But Branden's life isn't as easy as it seems - as if it seemed easy! He is secretly a member of a revolutionary organization determined to peacefully...Well, somewhat peacefully change the government. He quickly finds himself at odds with an old saying about omlettes and eggs, and he quickly doubts if he can go through with it.

Then, there is Clarice Saffron. Hailing from Coaslund, she is called "Blind Justice" for her talent of fighting with her eyes closed in order to enhance her other senses. She carries a somewhat unique burden; whereas Branden must decide where he stands on the spectrum of good and evil, and while Jacin must come to terms with a situation far beyond that of mortal man, Clarice must ensure that her love perserveres in a world where many find it forbidden for a woman to love another. Katherine London finds her lover questioned, pursued, and assailed by those who do not understand their bond; but, as with even bland relationships, there are trials which threaten to tear the two apart; after all, Kathy isn't all she seems, and then there is the fact that the two are beset on all sides by enemies wishing to destroy more than just a relationship.
